Hansika to resume work right after her wedding

It’s Hansika’s big day today – the actress is all set to tie the knot with her beau Sohael Khaturiya in a traditional Punjabi wedding at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur this evening. But even as she steps into a new phase in life, we hear that the actress will don the greasepaint soon for her work commitments. Yes, Hansika is all set to resume work a couple of days after her wedding!
A source says, “Hansika will be shooting a brand campaign on December 7.She also has quite a few shoots lined up, which she will complete by mid-December, before heading for their honeymoon. She will start shooting for her films again from January.”
The pre-wedding festivities of Hansika and Sohael started with the couple hosting Mata Ki Chowki at a banquet hall near the former’s house in Mumbai. Hansika had also celebrated her bachelorette in Greece. Pictures and videos that have gone viral from the wedding venue showcases how the couple lived it up during their various wedding-related functions, including mehendi and sufi night.
The source adds, “The haldi took place in the afternoon today, and the pheras will happen later in the evening. They have also planned a casino-themed afterparty to round off the celebrations.”
The celebrations have been a grand, yet intimate affair. We hear that Hansika has also invited the underprivileged kids she has been taking care of for years now to the wedding. The couple is expected to return to Mumbai in a day, with hearts full of memories.
